Breakfast On Day 6 Of Mediterranean Diet Plan

Peanut Butter on Bagel and Chocolate Milk

Preparation:

  •     Spread 1 tablespoon peanut butter on 1 ounce whole-wheat bagel
  •     Serve with 1 cup fat-free milk mixed with the following:
    o    2 teaspoons chocolate syrup
    o    1 cup red or green grapes

Lunch On Day 6 Of Mediterranean Diet Plan

Pizza and Salad

Preparation:

  •     Take 1 slice of large, thin-crust cheese pizza of your own choice and try to include the following toppings:
    o     Mushrooms
    o    Peppers
    o    Onions
  •     Have at least 2 cups of green salad topped with 2 tablespoons regular dressing
  •     Have 1 scoop of your favorite ice cream for dessert

Snack For Day 6 Of Mediterranean Diet Plan

Pineapple Smoothie

Preparation:

  •     Combine 1/2 fresh orange, 1/2 cup pineapple chunks, fresh or canned and drained, with 6 ounces light yogurt
  •     Blend in a food processor
  •     Drop in ice cubes until you have achieve desired consistency
  •     Serve immediately

Dinner For Day 6of Mediterranean Diet Plan

Any Greek Dish of Your Choice

Preparation:

  •     Today visit your favorite Greek restaurant and have a dish of your own choice preferably something in meat; lamb, mutton or beef)
