Beauty doctor’s five top tips to achieve younger skin without any injections

Beauty enthusiasts are constantly looking for the finest new ways to look younger, and they frequently turn to cosmetic procedures like Botox to do this.

An estimated 900,000 Botox injections are performed in the UK annually, according to GOV.UK.

Nonetheless, a medical aesthetician and beauty specialist has disclosed the five daily practices she employs to guarantee optimal skin tone without resorting to cosmetic procedures.

After nearly 20 years in the beauty field, Dr. Keyana Emamian, a general practitioner and aesthetic, skin, and hair specialist at Este Medical Group, is now sharing the details of her easy-to-follow daily routine at home with everyone.

She said: “Many of us have our own skincare needs, goals and routines depending on our skin types, but there are a few things that we can all do to achieve healthier complexions.”

1) Cleansing each day

It is the fault of the majority of us not to cleanse daily. Using a face cleanser is essential to help keep your pores clear and prevent skin disorders like acne by scrubbing away dead skin cells, oil, debris, makeup, and other pollutants.

Emamian stated: “It’s critical to cleanse your skin every day in order to get rid of contaminants and give it breathing room. I always make sure to use a mild cleanser before bed and I never go to bed wearing makeup.”

2) Moisturising your skin

Applying moisturiser to the skin helps plump it up, reducing the visibility of wrinkles and lines and potentially making the skin appear younger. Additionally, this relieves dryness, which quickly tightens the skin and causes wrinkles and fine lines.

The dermatologist explained: “Moisturising your skin is also essential each day to maintain its protective barrier to reduce water loss and keep pollutants out, and it’s something I consider a very important part of my routine.”

3) Sunscreen

Emamian said, “I never leave home without sunscreen since I think it should be a crucial component of everyone’s skincare routine, especially in the summer. Every three to four hours, the SPF should be reapplied with a minimum of 30.

Sunscreen protects against sunburn, skin cancer, and premature ageing; however, beauty enthusiasts should avoid sunbathing and false tanning as these can hasten the ageing process if they want to seem younger.

4) Drinking water

In addition to keeping your body hydrated and revitalised, water also helps to preserve the flexibility of your skin, which gives you a youthful appearance.

She said: “What we put in our bodies has a real impact on our skin, so I ensure I drink at least two litres of water per day and follow a healthy diet.”

5) Sleep

And lastly, getting enough sleep promotes healthy blood flow and permits skin cell regeneration, both of which are extremely good to our skin. I make it a point to sleep for at least seven hours every day.

Beyond the five daily practices she employs to maintain optimal skin quality, the expert offers a crucial piece of advice for beauty enthusiasts seeking optimal outcomes.

“Exfoliating the skin is an important part of maintaining a healthy complexion because it helps give you smoother, brighter skin by removing impurities and dead skin cells.” she continued.

“I consider it a very important part of my skincare routine, and I do it at least once or twice a week.”
