1. Packaging
5/5 – Deserves a full on 5 points because the packaging is unique and super cute. It’s definitely from the traditional packaging for lipsticks we see. When it comes to makeup I prefer such unique changes in packaging. Love it totally!
2. Texture
5/5 – Once again deserves full score because the lipstick offers matte finish but it is so smooth in application and non-drying that one doesn’t even realize they’re putting on a matte lipstick and for this price tag of $5 I never thought I would get such amazing stuff in lipstick that too in matte. The bonus points go to the flavor yummmmmmmmmmmmm… tastes like caramel hhmmmmm…
3. Lasting Power
4.2/5 – Generally great lasting power but it separates on my lips after about 4 to 5 hours which can be embarrassing when in a group of people so I overcome this issue by keeping a constant check every 2 to 3 hours if it has cracked or not.
4. Shade Color
5/5 – This shade “Lumiere” is a nice mauvey brown nude shade that can be carried with any look be it bold smokey eyes or plain mascara coated eyes with no kohl or eyeliner but might not come off pretty on slightly darker skin tones.
5. Overall Rating:
4.8/5 – Wonderful product by Colour Pop cosmetics. I absolutely love these little angels and on my way to order more.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, by all means but people with really dry/chapped lips should be careful as mentioned earlier it does crack up after a while.
