Deserved Rating:
1. Packaging
4.5/5 – I really like the tube packaging including the color of it and how the amount of product can be rightly controlled. In this case it is better than High Beam by Benefit!
2. Texture
3.5/5 – I cannot really explain the texture. High beam by Benefit definitely takes a lead here because that is more of the finer side than this one. It does feel slightly tacky and it has a lot of apparent shimmering particles that make life hell for somebody looking for a subtle highlight. Definitely not for highlighter shy individuals!
3. Lasting Power
4/5 – Great when mixed with liquid foundations. Lasts for about as much time as does the foundation itself!
4. Shade Color
4/5 – I absolutely love the color and it definitely is more apparent on the cheeks than High Beam by Benefit.
5. Overall Rating:
4/5 – A good highlighter for the price minus the very apparent shimmering particles that can put some off of it. I would still rate it better than Benefit High Beam.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, for night time occasions only if you are planning to use it solely as a highlighter. Don’t even attempt to use it during the day because the shimmering particles will shine in the sun giving you that cheap kind of look that usually comes with using cheap not so finely milled glitters. Ideal use of it during the day is mixing it with your liquid foundation to impart healthy glow on your face.
PS: The shimmer particles might still show when mixed with foundation but not as much as they would do if applied on its own.
